About Steam 97 Application
The steam tables application calculates 30 thermodynamic and transport properties
of water and steam is SI and English units. It allows 16 different combinations of input variables to
be used for calculations.
Input variables that can be used are:
- pressure,
- temperature,
- enthalpy,
- entropy,
- volume,
- internal energy,
- and steam quality.

The application uses new industrial formulation for steam tables, called "IAPWS Industrial Formulation
1997 for the Thermodynamic Properties of Water and Steam (IAPWS-IF97)", and replaces
the previous industrial formulation, IFC-67.
IAPWS-IF97 improves significantly both accuracy and speed of the calculation of
the thermodynamic properties compared with the old formulation.
There are also six diagrams in the application, all generated with Steam97 library. Here is a list of currently available diagrams:

- H-S diagram,
- P-T diagram,
- logP-S diagram,
- logP-H diagram.
Steam 97 Application Functionality
The Steam97 is standard win32 application. it is very ease to use, after selection of units (SI or English are supported)
and completed calculation for entered parameters, results are displayed in the output table.
Obtained results can be saved to a file, printed, or copy and pasted (cell, row column or whole table) to Excel.
User privilages
Installation and use of the library requires standard user privilages or better.

Range of Validity
The entire set of equations of IAPWS-IF97, used by the application
for calculation of thermodynamic properties,
is defined by the following temperature and pressure range:
- 273.15 K <= T < = 1073.15 K p < = 100 MPa
- 1073.15 K < T < = 2273.15 K p < = 10 MPa
